The return of our Pre-Christmas festive Sundays
As somewhat of a tradition now at Larder, why not join us for one of our pre-christmas Sunday lunches, perfect for a family get together! available on the 5th 12th and 19th of December.
Christmas Eve tables can be booked between 12pm-5pm. This year we are offering a 4 course lunch with added treats such as snacks home made bread, and some delicious petit fours to finish. it really is the perfect way to spend time with your loved ones before the big day.
New Years eve we will be running a 5 course tasting menu in the afternoon, and on the evening our 7 course tasting menu will be on offer, bookings can be made between 6pm -9pm. Premium ingredients such as king scollops and fillet of Herefordshire beef will take centre stage, this really isn’t one to be missed! vegetarian and vegan menus will also be available
We are delighted to bring to you Larder Al fresco! our outdoor dining area will be OPEN FOR BUSINESS Friday to Sunday from the 16th of April to the 16th of May.
The menu is very much a casual and fun affair but of course done the Larder way! We wanted our chefs to have fun with this style of menu with favourites like our very own Larder hot dog with caramelised onions, sweet mustard mayo on a home made milk bun, or Maybe an authentic chicken Bhuna is more your thing. Whatever you order, it could be finished off nicely with chef Chris’s delicious cinnamon sugar churros with chocolate sauce. We also have a range of light bites to be enjoyed with drinks like sun dried tomato arancini with mushroom ketchup, sticky chicken wings or maybe home made focaccia with hummus, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. These are just some of the perfect snacks for those boozy get togethers with friends and family that we have all been craving.
Yes that’s right! We will be operating a proper hot takeaway collection service! Why not pop down for a cold pint of freedom or a crisp glass of champagne in the spring sunshine while our chefs cook you up a storm. Our takeaway service will be available to order in person or over the phone where we will take your order and give you a time slot. Phone lines will be open from 11am on Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s until closing as of the 16th of April. Please see our opening hours at the bottom of the page.

Here is a few bits of information if you are looking to book a table with us. As I’m sure you are aware we are not allowed to let customers in the restaurant to take refuge if we experience a few April showers! We will however, have parasols in position outdoors as well as two patio heaters. We do encourage customers to wrap up warm and bring some cosy blankets incase the weather isn’t on our side! If your food is ordered and you wish to leave due to unfortunate weather conditions we do have takeaway containers available so you can take your food away with you. Our online booking system is for customers looking to dine with us only. We will happily take bookings for just drinks but these will need to be made over the phone when our phone lines re-open. Walk-ins are also welcome!
Each table will be given a 90 minute slot per booking
To celebrate the first Wednesday back we will be doing a one off special grill menu. We have some mouth watering options to choose from including, Chateaubriand to share, Rib of beef to share and even fresh Lobster!! Everything will be cooked over the coals on our indoor BBQ. We cant wait for you all to try these delicious dishes.

We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting an Italian inspired evening here at Larder. We have teamed up with one of our suppliers, Berkmann wines. They will lead the evening with one of thier producers from Mezzocorona. This is a comune in northern Italy situated around 15km north of Trento. Our head chef Alex has designed an Italian inspired menu which will compliment the wines perfectly. We do hope you can join us on the evening!!!
Upon arrival at 7.00pm you wil be greeted with a glass of Rotari cuvee 28 and canapes in the bar. You will be then lead to the restaurant for a delicious 5 course tasting menu with some equally impressive wines from Mezzocorona. There will be an in depth guide to all of the wines on the night. We hope as many of you as possible can make the evening, but there is limited space. We advice booking as soon as you can to avoid any dissapointment

Festive Sunday Lunches
To help get you into the Christmas spirit, we’re offering Festive Sunday lunches on selected dates during December. Bring together family or friends over delicious food and catch up before the crazy Christmas period begins.
Our Festive Sunday Lunch menus offer a choice of four starters from warming roast parsnip soup and curried bhaji, to chicken and tarragon terrine served with pickled mushrooms.
For mains, whether you fancy a festive feast with our roast turkey and all the trimmings or maybe our sea bream with pickled fennel cauliflower and orange, there’s a main course to suit everyone on this menu.
If there’s room for something sweet to finish, try our chocolate cremeux served with golden raisin ice cream or savour the taste of our apple and blackberry crumble.
Our Festive Sunday Lunch menu at Larder is priced at £24 for two courses and £28 for three courses. It’s available to book for either the 8th, 15th or 22nd of December, why not reserve your table today?
Christmas Eve Lunch
We’re also offering a Christmas Eve lunch menu which begins with a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival, to get the festive fun flowing!
Choose from a variety of starters such as our goat’s cheese and beetroot filo tart or crab satay served with pickled turnip and sourdough, before moving on to one of our mains.
Tuck in to roast turkey served with all the trimmings, or opt for one of our other tasty mains like Sea Bream or Butternut Squash Wellington. All of our main courses are served with mash, sprouts with chestnuts and bacon, roast potatoes and honey glazed piccolo parsnips.
Finish your meal with a classic Christmas pudding in brandy sauce or enjoy another dessert off our menu, like our selection of British cheeses.
